Smart Energy

Why Green Cross?

To create a better world, GreenEcoBox decided to join the non-profit organization Green Cross. This organization is an association whose mission (among others) is to advocate for a fair, secure and sustainable energy future in the world.

How does this partnership work?

GreenEcoBox donates €3 and €4 for each Bee Happy Box or Beauty in the box delivered in June 2019. Through this partnership, GreenEcoBox has chosen a specific project and now shares all the information related to this project with its customers.

Mission

Green Cross advocates for a fair, secure and sustainable energy future for the world.

Background

Growing global demand for energy and too much dependence on fossil fuels are the main drivers of climate change.

To meet the needs of more than 9 billion people in 2050, energy production must double. However, to protect the climate, greenhouse gas emissions must be reduced by 80%. Pursuing the current path is the best way to bring about an environmental and humanitarian disaster.

Green Cross undertakes both communication and field projects to promote energy conservation and energy efficiency and accelerate transition from a coal-based economy to a clean and sustainable energy model accessible to everyone.

In 2014, work was carried out on the modernization of agricultural production in Russia, following the principles of sustainable development, in accordance with Green Cross methods. This work included analytical studies on status and prospects for the use of bioenergy applied to Russian agricultural producers as well as the promotion of integrated use of biomass in agricultural production by reprocessing waste to obtain fertilizers. organic fertilizers, energy, gasoline for engines and additives for food and soil. Green Cross has participated in specialized conferences on the problems related to the use of alternative energies in agriculture, housing and utilities and has also prepared messages, presentations, publications as well as professional journalistic articles on the subject of alternative energies.

The development of better methods has continued with the identification and evaluation of innovative technologies applied to the treatment and reuse of biological waste. A new agricultural complex, operating independently of any external source of gas, electricity, heat, gasoline or fertilizer, has been developed and partially tested. An in-depth study will allow its adaptation and optimization to the specific conditions of different modern agricultural enterprises.
